The following list is some of the weeds that inhabits the park.
Although a great deal of effort goes into weed reduction it is still
possible to detect nearly all on the list below. Hopefully though, not
as many as last year and more than there will be next year...
Some weeds have proved helpful in revegetation, for example, Solanum
mauritianum (Wild Tobacco) quickly regenerates on cleared sites and
suppresses more harmful weeds. It does not compete with regenerating
natives and disappears once a canopy is formed.
